A performative installation exploring the relationship between memory and grief in relation to technology. Phrases such as "You can throw away my corpse, but please turn my Facebook into a memorial page" flooded the entire space. Three analogue televisions accompanied such images, displaying distorted home video and different real media based programs that stigmatize grief. This project went on to inspire "I'm Not Home".
As shown above, at one point in the performance I begin a choreographed movement as I throw up a photograph. I share the stage with a live feed camera, which projects onto the back wall. This is performed with the following voice over I wrote:
